About Jeremy

So I guess this is the point where I talk about who I am.  This seems like a life long question, I will try to answer this in a somewhat cohesive manner.

 

My name is Jeremy and I am the husband to a wonderful wife Censie and she has blessed me with two wonderful children Jude and Teagan.  When Jude was born Censie started a blog, check it out www.buildingourstory.com  and this has inspired me.  I love being a husband and I also love being a father immensely. 

 

I have lived in Colorado the majority of my life, the only time that I left is when I went to go to college at Concordia University, I didn't chose to stick with my career plan but I got to meet my lovely wife and best friend so it worked out. 

 

I am a huge lover of music and art.  I am a huge Beatles fan, if you couldn't tell by my son's name.  I thinks that music brings a sense of order and calmness to my life and I will be caught listening to music whenever I get a chance.  I also have started painting again, I painted a long time ago but then passed on it but I have started again.  I do have an Etsy shop The Eccentric Mind, where I sell some of my custom artwork.

 

I am hoping to be able to provide a male perspective into being a parent and the different challenges that we face as males and fathers compared to women and mothers.  I am hoping to bring in some of my weird sense of humor as well as an honest approach to the things that I feel throughout the days.  I also have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety and I am going to be open and honest about how these affect my life and my family life.  I am also a patient diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, to see more about my struggle with Ulcerative Colitis please see My UC page.  I am hoping that this blog will be a support to someone out there and that it will bring joy and humor to my readers.
